Terms of Service

These terms cover the Horizech websites, apps and games. By using them you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use them.

Who you are agreeing with

Your agreement is with Horizech LTD, a company registered in England & Wales. Its registered details are on the Company details page.

One thing these terms do not govern: consultancy engagements are governed by the contract signed for that work, which takes precedence over anything here.

Using our services

You may use them for their intended purpose. You may not:

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. Give us accurate registration details and keep them up to date.

Your content stays yours

What you put into our products — vault entries, workspaces, projects, algorithms — remains yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, process it and show it back to you so the product works. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not use it to train AI models.

Our intellectual property

The software, its content, and the Horizech name and marks are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing here transfers any of that to you. Where a component is released under an open-source licence, that licence governs it and says so.

Availability

We work to keep things running but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of a service. Where a change materially reduces a paid service we will give reasonable notice.

Anything described as a preview, beta or in development is exactly that, and may change or disappear.

Our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services are provided as they are, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data beyond what our backups hold.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and ending

You can stop using our services and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if we are required to by law — and we will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you use a service is the version that applies, and the date it last changed is at the top. Material changes affecting people with accounts will be told to them directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you use our services as a consumer, this does not remove the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you keep any right to bring proceedings there.
